It does have

a bit of a strong smell for me, I bought some to replace my drugstore detanglers.
I do like it,though, it gets the job done- but I don't care for the smell.
I prefer Aubrey's Sea Buckthorn Leave-in- I'm on my umpteenth bottle of that stuff- they need to make a bigger bottle.
