Flexi 8 users???

As I said in another post, I'm in a bad phase of my growth. So I decided some hair toys would help me get through it. I checked the flexi 8 website and they look great. But before buying I wanted to know if there was some flexi 8 users here what you think of them. As for the size I was thinking of getting for me a large one. I also thought it would make a good birthday present for a friend. I think her hair would be shoulder lenght 1a/f/i. So I was thinking for her a mini or extra small. What do you think?

Routine(still experimenting):
Wash 2 or 3x a week using cwc method
Shampoo: Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle rose
ACV with honey before conditioner
Deep conditioning once a week with food
Comb hair after shampoo and use BBB once in a while
Oiling with coconut oil
