I had made up my mind to grow my hair to classic and then maintain but this all changed when my third son went and announced his engagement last week with a wedding planned for "early next year". I've decided that I want my hair to be the best it can be by then (even if I wear it up for the wedding) so I've decided to maintain at tailbone and see if I can get it to thicken up. I'm hoping that by "early next year" the hemline will have thickened up.
Perhaps I'll even get brave and join Mermayd in growing out my bangs. But then again, perhaps I won't. I do want to look decent in the photos after all.
Any tips on maintaing a hemline to thicken? Am I best to trim every month or every second month or do bigger trims a few times a year?Progress from June 2006 - January 2011

'Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfailing beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.' 1 Peter 3:3-4
