That is very pretty! What kind of yarn did she use? Is it cotton?

Yes, it is. She used tatting cotton, I believe.

I don't know if you saw it, but on page 2 there is a thread...

...where I gave instructions for a hairtoy organizer that I crochet. I use a heavier cotton (kitchen cotton) to make them, but it would be very easy for her to make you one if you are interested. Here is a link:

And here is a link to a picture of one I made full of Jen's lovely hairtoys:

your organizers

June 24 2005, 9:23 PM

Yes!! I've been admiring them ever since you showed us yours. It is a fantastic idea but I need mine kept in a smaller amount of space. I have been trying to figure out a way of hanging one up that would have "pages". Maybe one of those hinged kitchen towel rods? I'm currently using my wood hair dryer/curling iron rack. I've stuck one of my kids plastic cups in the hole for the hair dryer which holds my sticks and comb. The wood hooks hold my scrunchies, headbands and scarves. All the little items are in jewelry boxes. Rather make-shift, but it works for my small corner of our bedroom.

No, but...

a non stretchy headband works better for me. The stretchy ones slide off all the time.
