Jules is on vacation, and asked me to post this for her. She had a growth spurt, and is somewhere between 32.5" and 33". Hooray for Jules and her gorgeous hair!

I am glad that your happy with your hemline and the growth too! Congrats!!

Started measuring August 06, at 36.5 inches
1cCii ~ Natural Silver
July 1st - Reached 40 inches
July 14 - Cut back to 36.5
36.5/38.5/Classic
Faithful to barbers - they actually trim 1/8th of an inch!!
and this is frustrating . . . it's been at least one, maybe two months at this length. I'm not getting breakage, it's just the tapering, only the very center hairs are getting longer than 34" - the rest are just holding steady. Yet my roots are showing a good 1" growth at least! I'm wondering if this "no trimming" even matters -- if I'm not getting extra growth from it, except for the very center. I know I must be "filling in" with all the greys I have up top. The breakage/splits aren't any worse than usual, so it's not that my hair is breaking off.
So, I'll wait 'till May since I made myself that promise before I trim. It'll be interesting to see where I'm at in May. From there, I may go back to trimming every other salon visit - or about quarterly (with a 1/2" trim).
I'm in an experimental stage I guess.
So, once again I'm calling it 34" because the stuff beyond is just a few hairs in the center . . .

Late august my hair was 50 cm (19.7 inch) and when I measured a few days ago it was 56 cm (22 inch) so my hair grows about half an inch every month now. I'm hoping to get a little more growth when summer starts again.

101+ centimeters, a lovely 40" exact, and after much thought I've decided that my goal for this year is trying to keep as few split ends as possible. I'm awful at cutting off split ends, so I think that's a nice hair 'goal'; see how long my hair gets if I actually take care of it for a change. I wouldn't mind adding more centimeters/inches to the length now. Two year ago, that thought would have terrified me; anything past waist-length just looked awful on me, IMHO, because my hair is so stick-straight and thin.
I'm starting the year by sharing a couple of pictures I took of my hair during the Christmas period, and an updated signature picture of my hair right after having worn it in two French braids with aloe vera gel for a couple of days in a bun. Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I took them with the timer.
Oh la la - Congratulations for being in a NEW set of tens!

Dallie, those pics look great and you even used the timer. Good going!
Your new sig pic is heavenly. You blondes are so awesome. Light colored hair that is that long is an unusual sight.

Well, it seems like I did not measure properly the last months, because now I asked my husband to measure and he measured 23,5 inches (60 cm). Last month I measured myself and had 21,5 inches (55 cm) , so I did something wrong because I think hair cannot grow 2 inches in one month, that is just impossible (well, on the other hand my fingernails just grow like mad!)
So the good thing is that my hair is really longer than I thougt before , the bad thing is that I do not know how much it acutally grew.

It's still hovering somewhere around bra-strap length...
Hair type 1bFii.
24/24/41(somewhere between butt length and Classic). Hair's hovering around Bra-strap length.
Shampoo every four days, rinse every two. H'suan Wen Hua left in for 20 minutes every week. No dyes of any kind and no blow drying or any heat treatments.
For me. I guess I have no room to complain, but would LOVE to get another 3/4 inch month again soon.
I so want to be able to reach tailbone by this time next year, but I'm gonna have to really do some growing between now & then in order to make it.
Had my husband do a bit of a trim on the length last month as I was tangling and scraggly. So my growth is most noticeable in the bangs/layers. They've grown 1/2".

I haven't measured in a few months so I'm not even sure how much growth that is per month. Still pretty amazing. To think that back in January 2004, I was at 24.5 inches. Wow. That's 20.25 inches of growth in 4 years! Has it been 4 years already? It doesn't feel like it. haha.

Well, the last time I measured in September, I did not have any growth from when I first measured in June when it was 23 inches. Measuring today the hubby informed me that I'm now at 25 inches! So that's a decent 1/2 inch of growth per month, since September. Hopefully, I'll keep it up.

Usually I round up or down but he's gotten to where he measures with much exactitude lately, so I will respect that. I have some hair at 41 inches, but he says more is at 40 6/8ths, so I'll go with 40.75 inches. If this is my month of no growth and I lucked out and got a little (1/4th inch) I'll be happy. But if this is a slow down encompassing more than one month, not happy. A determination on that cannot be made until we see what the month of February brings!

Now I'm at about 33" and very happy! I didn't think my hair had been growing much until we watched the videos of our vacation from last summer. My hair was braided most every day since we were outdoors and on the go. Now the same braid looks much longer. The length can really be seen in my bangs which were at my brows, now at their shortest part they're at an annoying mouth length!

I'm back to 36" which is where I was about a year ago when I trimmed back quite a bit. This is the longest I've ever had my hair - and this time I'm going for classic if my hair is willing. I'm around tailbone now, maybe a bit longer. My immediate length goal is 40" - gotta catch up to Liliana!

And your ends are so full. I have to warn you, tailbone to classic feels like about a million years. It seems to take even longer than bsl to waist - just forever.

I'm a little bit disappointed... My hair was 27" inches at the beginning of November, but the ends were bad, so I trimmed off 1.5" inches. I had been getting an inch per month, so I figured it would grow back in no time. But as soon as I trimmed, my hair decided to stop growing for a month!!
So it started growing again a few weeks ago, and is finally almost back to where it was before. But at least the ends have been largely split-free since the trim, so I guess it was worth it. But I'm hoping for better growth in the new year!

Very cool! I have not trimmed my hair since July, and contemplating getting just the slightest trim, just a dusting. I still have about 3 inches of perm left on the ends and I dont want to start getting splits all the way up my hair. I have noticed allot of shorter hairs and I'm hoping that the shorter hairs are just new growth. I have been checking out my ends and there have only been a few splits. It always stings a little to lose some growth but I think healthy hair is the key!

First off, I am still at 38" because I trimmed 1/2" in December.
I started out the year at 34.25", so I had a total net growth for the year of 3.75". It doesn't sound like much, but I did reach my goal of tailbone this year - 36". Yeah!
During the spring, I experienced a resting period. I stayed at 35.5" for three months - sigh!
Trimming for the year: I trimmed four times - 1/2" in April, 1/2" in August, 1/2" in September and 1/2" in December for a total of 2" trimmed.
Combining my net growth with my trimmed inches, would make the grand total growth for the year of 5.75" - which is very close to the average growth rate of 1/2" per month. Nice and acceptable especially when I had a resting period.
I started hennaing again in January of 2007 and have continued throughout the year. I am still very happy with henna and will continue (probably) through 2008.
My next goal will be 40" and then I will re-assess to see if I even want to cruise on down to classic.
I asked my dh and ds how long I should grow my hair. DS said "As long as it will go." DH said "As long as it doesn't interfere with life." Funny men aren't they?

Shampoo – Wednesday and Sunday nights - my homemade formula or Suave Naturals
ACV rinse - infused with mint, basil, rosemary and sage w/ lemon EO after shampooing
Conditioner - Suave Naturals as a leave-in
Deep conditioning - every weekend - shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil &/or Africa’s Best Herbal oil – usually left on from Saturday evening to my Sunday wash
Fruit of the Earth 100% Aloe Vera gel – glossing and setting gel
Knowing your hair had a resting period, as mine seems to be doing right now! And mine is around 34.5, right around where yours was when it rested. Wonder if there is something to that? I also didn't get my usual summer growth spurt this year which didn't help AT ALL. Sigh.
