I think I'm addicted to updos! (and style question)

I've been thinking how funny it is that with my BSL, layered style, I'm still feeling the need to do those updos on an almost daily basis! I can't do the same styles I did with my tailbone length hair but I've mastered an untwisted bun,French braided bun, and my favorite: the pinned up braid. I'm working on the French twist style but have problems with hair sticking out.

Does anyone know how to do a style that looks like a bun with the ends showing out all fluffy-like? I saw the woman that plays "Delia," (not sure of spelling) on the show "Ghost Whisperer" wearing a style that looks like this. Her hair is so gorgeous and I always admire her styles on the show.

It just shows you like updos. happy.gif

As to the bun style, I did a fringed bun on my sister which is similar.http://www.network54.com/Forum/242462/message/1145347986/Fringed+Bun+(kind+of+messy+style)

Maybe that will help give you an idea of how to create the style you are thinking of.

Yes, I do love updos, especially to keep my mass of hair out of the way in this humid Oklahoma weather. I tried the style you suggested; works very well on my layers. Thank you!
