Hair Vitamins?

I saw someone mention hair vitamins in another thread. I am curious how people who have used them feel about them. Do you think they work for you? I have thought about trying them, but I'm not sure.

For me..

I have been just taking a multi-vitamin and 5000mcgs of Biotin daily, for almost a couple of months now. I am actually very happy with the results. After being on the biotin for a while I noticed fewer splits when I was S&Ding and I also noticed my hair seems a lot less fragile, not breaking as often. Plus it has done wonders for my nails!! Yes they do work...

I can attribute my hair getting alittle past tailbone to taking supplements. The reason is because I'm on alot of medications, some of which can cause hair loss, and by me taking supplements it has helped tremendously. That's my experience and my opinion happy.gif.Oh,and I'm the one who started the thread about taking supplements happy.gif.Go to longhairlovers.com and click on products, you will see hair vitamins for sale and what they do for your hair. However, you can purchase them anywhere. But the lady that owns that website Jennifer Bahney,is a licensed trichologist so she knows what she is talking about,I use to be a member there.

I had been taking 3000mg of biotin for my hair, but I did not see a difference compared to when I was younger hip length and took only a multi vitamin. I think that a lot extends from what you eat and your overall health.

They certainly don't hurt! happy.gif If you are not taking a good multi-vitamin, then that or a hair formulated vitamin is not only good for hair, but for your overall health!
