self trimmed!

Hey all! Though the shedding continues, my hair is responding well to the dietary and external changes. Also, I trimmed my hair, taking only a teeny bit off because the "corners" were extra long and gave it a lopsided look. And it worked! I'm really excited because given the length and the layers, I was worried if it wasn't perfect it would look bad. It was nerve-wracking to cut my own hair, but the end product is good and I'm starting to think maybe I can avoid salon visits in the future.

Isn't it nice being able to trim your own hair? Like you, I was scared at first, and still get a little nervous even after all these years, but it is so worth it. I know exactly how much is going to be taken off happy.gif. Plus think of all the money you will save not having to go to a salon!

the money saved

from not going to the salon will hopefully add up to buy me a decent pair of shears. Right now I'm using a cheapy $10 thing from Sally's. It's also nice to know that I need no longer fear someone doing stuff to my hair that I don't want done!
