Success and a Question

So I finally made a lazy wrap bun!

Somehow I just hadn't understood the written instructions I'd seen, but I found a video (it may be a different sort of LWB) that made it clear.

I've only ever used this one chopstick-in-a-pencil-sharpener hair stick, so I may have to start finding some prettier ones now happy.gif

Also, I was wondering: if you sleep with your hair in a braid, will the hair get damaged from being rubbed between you and the bed when you move?

Goals: Improve hair health, get rid of split ends. Thinking about trying to go classic.

Congrats on the LWB, looks great happy.gif

I sleep with a braid, and I don't see any aditional damage. I put it on the pillow above my head, so that when I turn and moove only the part near the base of the braid can get caught under my head. Iv'e also noticed I somehow learned to turn in my sleep without ending on top of it after a while...

Way To Go!

Isn't it great when you figure out a new hairdo?!?! [linked image]

I think you should celebrate by treating yourself to a hair stick or two!

Also, to answer your question....I sleep with my her either in a braid, or in a bun, and don't seem to have any problems....so I would think you would be fine!

Your Lazy wrap bun is great! I'm so happy you mastered it; it's one of my favorites. So quick and easy! But, I won't enable you with hair toys wink.gif Because I too will be tempted to look at eBay or Etsy, and that's not very prudent at the moment cough

As for me, I sleep in a braid, and my hair is happy with that. I think damage can stem from tossing and turning during the night, but then again, everything we do can damage the hair, so I would say that we can neglect this damage. It's minimal comparing to sleeping with loose hair.

And I too sleep with a braid or two. I think it's best and the hair is more protected.
