Response to Beginner digital camera

I'm basically a beginner myself. I bought the Canon S3 IS, after seeing a few recommendations here and doing some research on the internet. www.dpreview.com is a very helpful website if your beginning to look for a camera.

The S3 IS isn't a DSLR, but its DSLR-like, basically all the whistles and bells of a DSLR but without the fuss, expense and hassle! Depending on where you live it could retail at £300-350 or $500-700. It does everything you need to start at model photography and just today I got two articles accepted for two magazines, so I would definetly recommend it!
