Hi Andy,
I read your article in Model Military International, Great job!

Now to your question...I cannot tell the difference. There's too much detail lost as the pictures are reduced in size. Would it be possible to post/send full size 2MB pictures?

Also, might want to try moving the camera away from the subject a little. The depth of field decreases the closer to the camera the subject is. With the 12MP camera, you should be able to shoot further away and crop the photo to your needs. I usually do this when I am using my Canon Elph for modelling photos. There's no f-stop control on that camera, but I increase the amount in focus by pulling back and cropping later.
