Hey Guys,

This is my 1st. post here in th Photg Forum. I've been a casual Lurker but never posted. Here is My delema. The camera that I have - Sony Cyber Shot(DSC-S500)( Gasps from th Galery, lol i really don't have th $$ to buy something like a Cannon Rebel or similar) I presently do not use a light box , and use an overhead light from a Ceiling Fan(3 at 20w) ( yeah i know this is not a good light source) I should probably use My lamp from my work bench - 100w ! I usually get good pictures when shooting a 1/35th scale tank, but i've just recently shot some pix of a 1/35th figure & ... they look like Crap ! I'm not sure if it's th Camera ? I just can't get a good close-up ? ALL Help would be greatly appreciated. Aside from saying that I need a New Camera ! lol How can I get th Most out of this one until i can Afford to get a better one ??

Yet here is a Shot of a 1/35th scale Tank focusing in on the smoke dischargers. These came out very clear ! Now I have a verson of Photoshop, but it's th "teaser" software that came with th computer. I am limited to what I can control ie White Light ratio (?) i can crop ( which "zooms" in ) and slightly enhance the Lighting ??

Thanks in Advance for any/all of your help ! I just tryin to get th Most Bang for My Buck , untill i can Afford to Upgrade to a better Camera !
