Well, I guess now we've had a few trial runs I think I can put up some photo-posting instructions to anyone who is interested. Didn't want to put them up before until I'd actually worked it out properly!

First thing you need to do is log on. Then go to http://www.network54.com and click on "my resources". Then create a new realm. You can upload image files to your realm.

Then back on the THF when you write a message there should be a button at the bottom of the text box saying "insert object". If you click on that then you can insert something from your realm. (Not sure that this works on Linux though if that affects anyone??)

Isn't it great to be able to put faces to names - horsey ones that is; I wouldn't want to alarm TOO many people with my visage (good at making young children screw up their faces and cry)!!

JanL's mare is really beautiful (lovely setting to the photograph too) and CatherineB's Jak is VERY handsome, although I had always pictured him as dark-bay for some reason . Nice to have real images to replace the imaginary ones!

It was interesting to have a visual guide to Jak's wound healing - looks like it is coming along nicely

It's great to see the horses we talk about so much.

Hi Catherine, I've managed to create a realm following your instructions but after scanning an image don't know how to get it to the folder!! Could you give me an idiots guide? love Sue

Once you've created the realm then you should see a box in which to type the file name (and a button saying "browse" next to it which will enable to use a file manager type thing to enter the file name). Once you have the filename entered then click on the upload button.

Then you should be ready to post a message and find the "insert object" button.
