Hi Sam (and all),
After some trial and error over the years, I now only buy FAL rugs for Queca which don't rub her at all. As Lucy suggests, it may be that FALs suit her particular shape, but I also think the 'technical' cut, quality materials (no, they're not the cheapest rugs!) and the fact that they're very light weight (even the "heavy" ones) helps a lot as they don't drag down on her shoulders.
