Favour to ask....

Hi there

Have a favour to ask of anyone who has lots of horse books.... I guess that means everyone!

I'm looking for a picture of a horse in profile showing the nervous system, or at least the brain, to scale. The whole horse, not just the head.

I'm amazed that despite having a book-case full of horse books, none of them seem to have a decent picture of this. Have found the same on web searches (at least, unless I by a 15 quid poster which I'm trying to avoid at the moment!).

If anyone can help with this then I'd be soooooo grateful

Thanks

Catherine x

Catherine,
I happen to have a poster of the nervous system also loads and loads of a & p books one in particular that is photographic description (right word? Huh?) of an autopsy of four different horses inc a pregnant mare...hmm not sure that's a selling point! LOL!

Am happy to post them or meet up if you think they'll be useful unless of course I can find some friendly person with a scanner!

...I seem to remember there's one in my Horse Anatomy, a Colouring Atlas, or whatever it's called!!! You can borrow the whole book if you want, but no colouring in, missus! I could meet you up in Coldharbour, or we could do a double date thang?? Give me a call if it sounds ok!

Fab, thanks Lucy, Diane.

Probably easiest for all concerned if I meet you in Coldharbour Diane. I've seen that colouring book and think that would be ideal. What times are you at the field these days?

Lucy, I would love to have a nosey through your a+p books - photographic autopsy sounds absolutely fascinating and I would love to borrow it some time (am I just really sick?!) , but it's probably more than I need for now.

Thanks
Catherine
