Building Trust and Creating Confidence
Trainers talk a great deal about gaining the trust of the animal they are working with. If an animal trusts the trainer, we see this as a sign of real horsemanship and achievement. So what is trust and how do we get it?
Do you trust your horse in any situation?
How much do you think your horse trusts you?
Do you do anything that would cause your horse not to trust you?
You can learn and earn trust with your horse by doing things together that push you both to the edge of your comfort zones.

You cannot make a horse confident, but you can allow them to learn confidence. Discover how this can be done by helping them to learn how to deal with their own fears.
