Hi all. My mate asked me to post this somewhere so here goes.He has a ducati 6oo monster, about 1500 miles after he bought it the main crank bearing .primary drive side.started squeaking and eventually failed.after no joy with the dealer!!!!he repaired it himself to ducati clearances etc.1500 miles the bearing picked up again.another repair 1500 miles and its in the back of his garage under a dust sheet.He was thinking about a replacement engine but I offered to ask if anyone might know the cause of his probs.thanks in aticipation.
