Found - Factory paint match for any bike

by Richard

Great service and advice from RS Motorcycle Paints in Barnsley UK. They have a website and email and give sensible help over the phone. Paint reached me the next day after posting and it matches!

What does it cost?

by

Any thoughts on how much a 1960 DUCATI 200 SINGLE SPORT would run for one in decent but not perfect shape?

Thanks ahead of time.

Paint match for timing belt covers 750SS 1995

by Richard

Anyone know of a spray paint match for the timing belt covers on the SS (1995)? It looks like a grey used by Landrover and Nissan but is there a genuine Ducati colour spray?
Cheers

has anyone ridden a S4R monster

by Danny Rebel

Im thinking of trading my 916 superbike for a 996 monster. Has any one got one or riden one & if so are they a good thing? or should i keep my 916! I would love more power & I think that the 996 monster would be a blast on tight twisty roads!
Thanks
Dan

Re: Slip on exaust. Do i need to do anything else to the bike

If they are 'race pipes' and not road legal - you should get the corresponding chip. For example if you have a 748 or 998 and add 45mm slip on end cans (or 50mm with link pipe) you can buy a corresponding Ducati Performance, JHP or more expensive FIM programmable chip. These will alter the fueling to allow for the freer flowing gasses. This will give you any performance benefits as well as better sound.
Its not a big job and chips like the DP and JHP are quite cheap.
