Sir James waited while Thomas and Cameron gave their meal requests to the pretty young girl who was serving them. As she bustled off to the kitchen to place their orders, he looked around the table. Then, his eyes resting on Cameron, he began to speak.
"If you agree, I believe that the preparations for Cameron's and Tom's wedding can be set in motion and completed fairly simply. Between Cameron's parents and the two of us, it should be no great matter to put things into motion. Once set so, a little attention occasionally should keep the ball rolling I should think." He looked at his wife, and was somewhat startled to see amusement in her eyes.
"Jamie has little idea of what goes into a wedding, I think." Her voice was light and fulled with laughter as well. "Cameron, you may not know either, but I believe your mother does." Now she spoke more firmly. "If Rosalie and I can have the reins, I think we can guide this to be a successful affair. However, we shall need the cooperation of all four of you young people, at various times, particularly you young men to run errands. Is that agreeable?" |
