Response to Z24 OWNERS OPINION

All 1997-2000 Cavaliers are the same, but to answer your question, a regular Cavalier is a simple 125 horse 4-cylinder engine. A Z-24 of those years is powered by a 150 horse V6.Also, a Z-24 comes with factory 16 inch wheels that are 6 or 7 inches wide, versus a 15 inch by 5.5 inch wide wheel found on base Cavaliers. No, I dont think you would want to waste your time trying to convert a base Cav into a Z, because you would have to get ground effects, wheels and tires, a new V6 in place of that 4 banger, and a list of suspension mods as well.Pay the extra money and get a Z24 and you'll be a hell of a lot happier.
