Once again after the Sunday game concluded the JHJ gang headed back into the Fan Festival tent where we could talk with several of the folks who did not have game tickets but were able to watch the game on big screen TV's. The Elvis's were much in demand for photos again. Do you sense the post game ritual??? After closing the Molson VIP tent Colonel Tom and most of the Elvis gang headed downtown for a quiet night cap. One place we tried to get into wanted a $4.00 cover charge per person and the place was empty. Even Bubba's masterful negotiating skills could not sway the doorman so we headed across the street where there was no cover and it was packed. After a few more photo ops and a couple wobbly pops with our favourite beer vendor from the rink we called it a night an headed back to the hotel.
Day 4 sees the Halifax contingent donning the Calgary Hitmen jerseys and joining Bubba in his customary Hitmen Nation get up. As scary as they may look they are all very good with the kids and the kids like them and want their pictures taken with them. With this gruesome looking crew we again had our token Medicine Hat Tiger fan, Zoo Keeper, along to control things. Again you'll see a picture with him in his customary victory pose. This time he has both hands full!!
