Edgars Ulescenko has been dropped from the Hitmen protected list. So, I don't think he is coming back.
I think we'll see the Hitmen make two import picks (which they can do because both their current imports are overagers and don't count towards the two-import limit right now), bring both those guys to camp and see how they look. They'll also bring back Golicic and/or Karpov, assuming those guys want to come back. After camp, the best two of the four stay. With our overage situation for next year also looking a little thin, I don't see any problem with using both an overage and an import spot on one of Golicic/Karpov. We know they can be contributors, which is something you might not be able to say about any new rookie imports.
There's also the possibility of trading up in the first round of the import draft. For example, Prince George currently has the #11 overall pick but they cannot use that pick unless they first drop or trade one of the two imports they already have. Same thing applies for Red Deer at #14 and Prince Albert at #26. So there definitely may be some plum spots available if you want to give up a mid-round bantam pick (the usual price for a first-round import pick) to move up.
I suspect Red Deer will drop Kivisto and Prince Albert will drop Voracek though, so those teams may keep their first rounders. But Prince George is in the tough spot of having Viedensky and Flaake and probably not wanting to drop either one.
