Greg Harder (Regina Pats beat reporter) is reporting on his blog that former Hitmen forward Shaun Sutter is about to be named the new assistant coach of the Pats. I guess this would mean he's hanging up the blades after a nine-year pro career that saw him play the last four seasons in Europe.
I do believe Sutter will be the first ex-Hitman to appear behind the bench of a WHL club. Or a pro club, for that matter?
