Chase had the flu so he was at the game but wasn't dressed. He will be a game time decision on Friday.
I thought Cowan played okay last night. At times he loooked good and at times it was apparent he had no practise time with his new teammates. When he was with the Wheaties he was a pain in the a@@. He won't be one of our top scorers but will be a solid third liner with 15 goals, 40 points and a good pk. Definate upgrade on Gross. Room for anoher o/a and that could come from Swift, either Doyle or Stickland would be a great addition.
As far as the game we were lucky to get the W. What happen in the middle 40 minutes? An effort like that vs Everett will spell disaster resulting in a loss, But the boys never gave up and two points is two points.
