1998 Trans Am
LS1
Auto tranny
3.23 gear
Power everything, grey leather interior, chrome rims, Monsoon stereo system with CD changer and tape player and buttons on the steering wheel, T-tops, cruise control, front airbags. I believe it has every option except traction control.
159k miles

$5,000

email: mattlavrar@sbcglobal.net

About the car:
-I bought the car in Sept 2005 with only 36k miles on it. I drove it for work ever since and travel all over the eastern and central U.S. Needless to say, this car has almost all highway miles.

-This car has been very reliable and continues to be. It is mechanically perfect, engine runs smooth and strong, tranny is in excellent shape, etc.

-I had Valentine Performance put on the new shocks and replace a ball joint a few months ago. He went over the rest of the suspension and said it was solid.

-I had the tranny fluid changed a few months ago and the guys at the shop couldn't believe how well the tranny shifted and how good of shape it is in.

-Just had a tune up this past winter.

-Tires are about a couple years old and still have a lot of tread left. They are Bridgestone Potenza 009's, a very good all-season tire.

-The car is completely stock except for a "carbon fiber look" airlid w/ K&N filter and a brand new set of Sam Strano Spec Bilstein shocks and catch can. If you are on ls1tech, you know these shocks are the ones to have on a daily driver for performance, comfort, and reliability. They were $435 plus shipping and install, these are brand new. http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetails.php?PartID=311&CategoryID=21&ModelID=8

-Interior is in EXCELLENT condition.

Issues with the car:

While the car is mechanically solid, it does have some flaws, it is 11 years old w/ 157k miles. Here are the issues:

-Passenger door skin is starting to come loose, some JB Weld should fix it.
-Passenger power lock does not work, but you can lock and unlock it by hand inside and with key outside.
-Rims are chrome and starting to fade and flake.
-Some normal wear and tear on the paint, small chips, some scratches, a couple of dings by the doors.
-Driver side headlight motor makes noise when locking doors with keyfob, but still functions properly.
-Power antenna stays up

I believe that is everything. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks and here are some pics:
