Game submisson problems

I finally finished a game, one that I want to submit. Cultural victory, large civ, all "normal" opponents. Largely a sleepy-time game; I'm looking forward to higher difficulties being a little more scrambly.

But what's supposed to happen with the submission? I hit the "submit game" button it gives you at the end, and nothing happened. So I waited a moment, and hit it a couple more times. I don't think it liked that, and the game started giving me messages, over and over again.

I don't think that's what's supposed to happen. :P .

Is it just supposed to go smoothly from the "submit" button? Maybe I just didn't wait for it long enough?
