I don’t know what your setup is but if you have a USB port on your notebook and are willing to spend some money you might check this out:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000096B01/qid=1078355270//ref=pd_ka_1/103-6618190-4862263?v=glance&n=507846

I don’t know if this would work with a book disk or not. It would depend on how your USB port is hooked up and whether your computer can access it without windows drivers. If you can find a similar product in a local store you could probably try it out then return it if it doesn’t work.

Edit: A quick web search revels that there are quite a few DOS based USB drivers out there. Getting them to work in such a way as to allow your computer to boot from a USB floppy drive can get pretty complex but apparently can be done. It probably depends on how ambitious you feel and how much luck you have with DOSbox. I have never been able to get MOO running in windows XP but it sounds like DOSbox works a lot better then it did a year ago when I messed around with it.
