Response to dicta and descidsion 2

One final observation. All the Treaties are still legally binding contracts. They are the things that separate the the difference between federal jurisdiction and the states and federal jurisdiction and Native Nations. If I were a U.S. officer, I would certainly welcome any Native Nation that wished to relieve the U.S. of a treaty obligation to a Native Nation, for they are the main impediments to direct federal jurisdiction and plenary powers. Remove the treaties and it's an un-obstructed path. I think that those who have invoked the Treaty have done so with the best interest of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
