A park dedicated to the memory of the Tulsa Race Riot and the ongoing progress of racial reconciliation is expected to be completed within six months. Yesterday's groundbreaking ceremony came nearly a century after a riot devastated black homes and businesses in 1 of the worst acts of racial violence in American history. The John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park will cost about $5 million.
