For ole Mikey Wholl eat anything Miller It is NOT a reversal of Policy unless you are talking about the policy of the BIA looking the other way while CNOT acts as a legal entity, and hopefully this will totally reverse the looking the other way, quite simply because the LAW has ALWAYS been there since 1898 CNOT is not the Cherokee Nation, for it was abolished and remains so today!
As for Stacy's Comments if you will read between the lines there is nothing said about law, while she Does know the law, she knows what the 1898 Curtis Act said and did, I have never been able to get a clear statement on what that may mean for CNOT today, or back when she ran...
I do believe she would be good for the Cherokee People as a Chief of CNOT, She thinks she can make it work, and probably so, BUT unless she accepts the fact of what Echohawk said about it and works toward crrrecting that, NO Matter how good she does for the Cherokee People when she leaves it will still be CNOT! THE words of Echohawk only need to be challenged if you believe the CUTIS ACT is not a fact, Which Chad knows better but he has to to save his azz! Stacy knows better too I think she will just ride the wave an go with the flow.
