My Lumbee Cousins...

I hope my cousins who are Lumbee Indians have taken the necessary steps to get themselves enrolled with the Lumbee tribe. The Lumbee rolls are currently closed due to pending federal recognition legislation and no new members are currently being added. Since my cousins live in Oklahoma I don't know if they were informed of their rights in that tribe. I have sent letters to the Oklahoma delegation asking for their support for the Lumbee recognition bill and I hope others will do the same.
