  • Flyers Win In Double OT 4-3! - Now Lead Series 3-1

    • Posted Apr 18, 2008 10:03 PM

      What an Awesome Game!

The first two periods the Flyers were a bit slugish save the two goals by Jeff Carter.
However the 3rd period and the two overtimes were just flat out exhilerating!

The pass by Mike Richards to Danny Briere for the tieng goal was a thing of beauty.
The Russian faned on what would have been the game winning goal - choke - and the game went to OT.

Nothing better than Overtime playoff Hockey -
      Just so exciting.
Huet saved the Caps bacon a couple of times with incredible saves
But when Knuble finally stufed home the game winner in the 2nd OT and the Wachovia Center just went nuts!

The Flyguys are in firm control now and will hopefully clinch the Series Saturday afternoon on DC.

      Let's Go Flyers!

      Sidenote -
Went to see my first Phillies game of the year Thursday and it was a Great one. The Phillies won 10-1 -
with Utley, Howard, Burrell and Chris Coste all hitting homeruns - and Brett Myers pitched a great game.
They didn't do to well in Business person specials last season -
but wow they set of fireworks on Thursday.
Also got Jamie Moyer's autograph which was nice.
Three game series with the Mets this weekend

      Let's Go Phillies!

Sixers start their series with the Pistons on Sunday =
they didn't finish .500 thanks to that theft of a game by the refs, but they still had a good season.
      Glad they made the playoffs.

      Let's Go Sixers!
