There will be lots of revenge and bad events no doubt. But this will happen no matter when the US leaves. Why wait any longer? Let the healing process begin now. If we leave: a war of revolution in Iraq, and Afghanistan will be a dismall failure. The war we have in Iraq is not viewed by many as a political war, but as a holy war. I'm going to leave that statement to our friend Trojan to decipher. Essentially, we have another Christian invasion called a Crusade.

Our implementation of democracy todate has been a sham. Our rebuiling of Iraq has been of far more profit to industrialist than Iraq. Actually Iraq oil production is less today than at the beginning of the U.S. invasion.

And our President has run and hid during every single crisis of his presidency. He is a despicible liar and a coward.

I've been wondering if you do...

In regards to Iraqi's "wanting revenge" before we went in, I know no more than you do. But what I do know is that there were NO suicide bombers in Iraq until we invaded. FACT

He has got a point there, I think we need to leave because for this simple fact, when you stick your pecker in hornets nest, you can keep it in to spite yourself because you were so stupid to put your willy in, in the first place, or you can do what any rational man would do when they start stinging. In short, Iraq is in a civil war right now. When we leave it will get worse and eventually it will stablize like lebanon did. If we stay we are rallying sunni extremists from around the world to join the fight. We are emboldening kurdish separtists who are not willing to budge as long as the US is there. Additionally, we are spoon feeding a miscarriage of an iraqi government. They eventually need to sink or swim on their own, we are only antagonizing the situation and acting as a rallying point. One difference the day we leave no more treasure or american blood will be left in mespotamia. No more soldiers will have to return with bloody stumps for legs and arms, in a conflict that has the highest rate of crippling people in modern american warfare, including Nam.

Every nation in the middle east hates us now. It won't matter what we do it will be wrong. Even Isreal isn't a friend. All they do is use us.

However, pulling out will only cause more bloodshed at this point.

As for the so called present Iraq democracy, it's a joke. It could be months before they find a P.M. and the ****es will run the whole thing anyway. It also appears that eventually the Kurds will revolt and set up a seperate nation for themselves and the Sunnis will just keep on exploding themselves and those they chose to participate.

The Iraq police and military are as competent as a group of retarded boy scouts and it will most likely be years before it's any different.

Lastly the U.S. has to keep and maintain those huge military bases we built.

Why would they be satisfied, we are responsible for this civil war. We bomb the **** out of their country kill thousands of their people and create Mad Max like chaos and they should be satisfied when we leave. No the leaving part is the beginning, changing our policies in the long run is the only thing that will make anyone satisfied. Especially, toward our parasite israel.

Yup, always blaming Israel for all of the middle easts problem. Its like Saudi terrorists blaming us for their corrupt government. If we leave it will just get worse. Well Charlie maybe you don't see a problem in creating a country for white europeans on the land that millions of other people live on regardless of what the majority of the population think. Israel is the cause of huge amount of the problems in the middle east. They are one of the reasons for the explosion of islamic fundamentalism and anti-americanism in the middle east. Already 3,500 americans died on 9-11 for payback for the crimes of the jewish state. Without Israel you wouldn't find 10 arabs willing to blow themselves up in order to kill americans, america was very popular in the middle east until they tipped increasingly towards israel especially after 1967. Bush and his daddy have killed hundreds of thousands why wouldn't people be pissed.

When America quits supporting and playing big brother to Isreal things will improve. However, the only way that's likely to happen is pack up all the U.S. jews and send them to Isreal. I know. That was a far fetched and not in the realm of reality. The fact is, is that Hamas said they would declare a truce if the Israeli's pushed back to the 67 borders. Israel should sacrifice this land for peace. The Palestinians have lost enough already. Time for Israel to make this move for peace.
