Only if the Indians win their QSLL appeal. If they don't win they will have to stay in the Q for the 010 season or they will lose all their players in a dispersal draft. Those are the facts.

indians and dynos are going back to the iroquois lacrosse association where they will be treated with respect not like the Quebec league where the refs won't speak english. Thanks Pierre!!!! You wanted the indians to leave well now they are leaving with the dynos.....so dont cry now.

Q teams have until December 31st to inform the board members if they want to leave the league.

they should just come join the 3nll so we don't have to deal with all the refs. in the Q! on a power trip actin like cops on the floor!

Wanting to leave the Q and actually leaving is two different types of animal. The Indians are committed to the Q for the 010 season, unless they win their appeal. (what is the chance of that happening?)they will have to field a team or risk losing their players in a dispersal draft to the remaining teams which would be the Mohawks and Dinos. If that happens, it would be expensive for them to get all their players back for the 011 season and then join the 3NSL. Those are the facts of the matter. My opinion is, that they are between a rock and a hard place!

the only hard thing the indians are stuck between is your daughter and not doin her! Indians are definetly in the Q next year whether they win the appeal or not.

Listen don't shoot me I am just the messenger. Their other option is for the Indians players to sit out the 010 season and thereby become free agents for the 011 season. (that would be one hell of a dedicated bunch) I heard that is the plan on the drawing board to this point, that they will play exhibition games next summer to keep their team in tact for 011. This of course, could all be a moot point if they do indeed win their appeal.

If you read the rules carfully you will see that there is no way they would be able to play "exhibition games" next year. They will not be able to play anywhere without QSLL/FCQ approval. If any other league or organization allows them to play against their team, they would need to face tampering charges in front of the CLA.

And the only people you hurt are yourselves. That would mean no lacrosse for you kids, your youth and your adults. Somehitng as positive as lacrosse is something that is needed in your community and blocking the bridge would only be a detriment to your own people. Also I can see bl;ocking the bridge for a good reason, to protest, but to block it because someone signed a contract that they do not want to live up to....wel that just seems self defeating. if the indians realy want to get up and leave they could the QSLL/FCQ has no say over the indians. quebec don't own the indians the people do. thats why it is called the peoples team. as for the tampering charges in front of the CLA they have no say either what the indians do. this is mohawk territory indians can do what they want. signed by the young people who want to watch the game.
