triple bufer is not enable

Hi, when I open 3Dsetup, Triple Buffer options is not enable (still gray). I found this options in win Registry, but game still flickering. Help, please.
(
(W2K, ATI Rage Pro, deleted gimme.dll, virtual memory is 256)
