hi leute ich hab schon das ganze netz abgesucht nach einem patch für need for speed 5 porsche, damit ich keine cd mehr brauch. ich hab leider nichts gefunden. könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen? ich wär euch sehr dankbar.
While i'm writing this reply, i'm still in doubt if i should even write u an answer, but as good a man i am, u will get my answer.
First of all be sure u have a LEGAL copy. I'm doubting that u do though...
If u want a cd key fast, after u lost it, u should send the game including everything that belongs to the game to EA. Be sure to include about 5 euro's for administration costs. When u have send it to EA with the money for the administration costs, u will receive a NEW COPY within about 2 days.. HOW SCHNELL CAN IT GET HEY?
If u had read the manual, u would have known this. Also the adress is in the booklet. If u also have lost your booklet, i'm really beginning to doubt, u even have the cd! And we would be where i think this is all about, and that is that u just download some ILLEGAL COPY from some filesharing program and u just need a cd key to activate the game.. Am i right or not?
People shouting SCHNELL, even with a lil' please or BITTE with that, usualy don't get an answer. So let this be a lesson for u. When u want something, just ask for it in NORMAL DESCENT way, and people will be glad to help u.
I lost my booklet ones of Underground. I send to EA in my country including 5 euro's for costs and 1 DAY LATER i got my fresh copy by express mail at my door! How is that for SCHNELL hey?

Maybe he's got a legal copy; maybe not. That's not your problem. I don't think he's got enough expirience in chatting or posting to know that writing in CAPITALS is ment as a shout ...
And by the way I've got enough money to buy my games, but not everybody has, for some of them are realy expensive ...
I have had this problem as well, and for some time it helped me to overwrite the entire 3DSETUP folder in your c:\games\NFS4 folder with the 3DSETUP folder of that from Porsche Unleashed. But u need NFS5 for that.
Visit the forum i mentioned earlyer. There should be an answer to this somewhere there.

What, the game crashes to your desktop or computer shuts down? If your computer shuts down, u might want consider buying a new pc, cause that would be the most weird thing i ever heard about NFS!

how can i play need for speed porsche (5/2000),with windows xp ? my problem is that when i clic the porsche icon,a beautiful car appears and that's all,my computer stop responing and i have to hit ctrl+alt+delete. is there any solution ?
I have Windows ME, and had the same problem. I just run the '4dos' program, and then run 'porsche.exe' manually from there. It works this way. Perhaps it might work for you.

i have fully installed NFS 4 HS and then i wanted to change the from software-rendering to my GF4Ti4200.
until that the game won't start anymore...
I've got a GF2GTS; the game doesn't start anymore; In my other Computer I've got an ATI Raedon; there it works ... (but slower ...) If I'll find an Solution, I will post it up ...
Also ich lad mir grad Need for Speed 1&2 runter und wollt mal fragen ob man die irgendwie unter Windows XP zum laufen kriegt. Bitte helft mir der 2 Teil ist der beste find ich den muss ich nochmal spielen.

Is there a patch or something that will let me install Need for Speed: High Stakes on Windows 2000? Whenever I try to, I get an error message telling me it can only run on Windows 95 and Windows 98.
Just wondering if there is a current update for NFS5? That is, is there an update so that I can go up until 2003/4 in Evolution, and get cars like the Cayenne, and the new 911's... if so, where can I get it?
