Habe vor kurzem von Windows ME auf Windows 2000 upgedated und seit dem läuft mein NFS Porsche nicht mehr! Wenn ich das Spiel starte, sehe ich zwar das Bild, kann aber sehr lange warten und es tut sich nichts! Der PC rechnet wie blöde macht aber nichts. Kann dann aber zurück in Windows springen und die Anwendung beenden (Task beenden).
Ihr müsst euch mal alle richtig umschauen in diesem Forum. Alleine auf den ersten 5 Seiten finde ich sehr oft das gleiche Problem. Löscht die "gimme.dll" auf dem Spieleverzeichnis

i still have downloaded the newest drivers and installed everything correct, but i have got problems during the game..
sometimes it hangs and then it starts again but at an increased speed for some seconds.. and then it hangs again.. and there are some graphical problems
can anyone help me? PLEASE!! I NEED IT!

haloo, ive got it cloned frm a freind who has the actual game, it kina worked, well i needed the crack but ive got about 6 different 1s, i had 2 problems, 1 was the "bad artists, no cookie" i got that fixed, naw it just crashes every time i try 2 race, my record is doing 1 lap! and that was like wow, i mean most of the time i cant even go past the start line, help ppl, plz?
The game crashes either at once (during the intro) and goes back to the desktop, or imediatly after it loads. Also the CD-RW(teac w552e) drive is having trouble spining the CD with the game.
P.S. this may bee helpfull also: AMD Athlon 1800 XP, G- Force 4 mx440, XP,...

having the same type of problems with my geforce 4mx, athlon xp 1700, running win2k pro. i installed the latest update and it didnt fix anything. i can do single race or the first race in the story modes but anything after that it will crash at the car loading menu or while its loading(gets about 75% done)
Your system configuration is good. check what type of RAM you have on the system (DDR RAM or SD RAM)(DDR is better for games). Also, check the VGA RAM, how many MB and what type.
your problem i think is because you have less RAM on the VGA card, or slow RAM type is installed. where it gets full fast, and then it has to dump the data to be available for new ones. that's why it hangs.
XP is not a problem, i have XP and it is working perfectly

That sounds like rubbish to me I'm afraid, XP is the issue and there are patches to get (apparently). Where? Im looking myself at the moment and if I find it I'll post the link here myself.
I've loaded the compatibility patch and every time I
select play, an "invalid Argument box" comes up
and does not go any further. How can I fix this please??

Ich habe das Problem das mich NFS4 immer wenn ich das 3-D Device unter 3-D Einstellungen angebe wieder zurück in Windows befördert, nachdem ich versuche es zu Starten. Das soel läuft nur mit Software-Rendering. Gibt es für die Geforce einen Patch oder Ähnliches?
