and off to the paint man. soon there will be a pretty, shiny, and rust free cab. he's getting two new floor pans, some new steel in the pass cab corner, and some attention to the pass side firewall to frame support. There was a lot more rust than thought, but mostly all on pass side. Fortunatly, bottom hinges are good and all the steps are good.
They used black beauty (glass powder and coal dust), and it did a good job with no warping.
I'm pulling the motor and trans tonight, and getting the frame stripped down to powder coat it, then we'll start putting him back together.
I'll post before and after pics of the cab when paint is done.
six weeks to lancaster, the clock is ticking. I sure hope I can get this all done in time.
