Craigslist 2R5: looks like a real nice truck for only $2K

by

I definitely don't need another truck and actually might sell a couple of my projects in the near future. I am thinking I need to get down to just one really good truck instead of several projects. So, hopefully one of you guys might be into giving this little truck a good home before something bad happens to it:

So, not definitely yet, but here is what I am thinking of selling. Not sure of prices yet, but just a heads up incase somebody might really be interested. I am not looking to make a killing off any of it and will certainly lose money on all of it. But, think I need to pare down and concentrate on one truck.

I am going to keep and dedicate my time and resources to my 2R15 pickup.

Some things I may or may not be selling, but regardless, not interested in selling in little parts as that will just take too much of my time:
1. '61 Champ 3/4 ton long stepside bed with 289 and spd O/D (I think) - not running and hasn't in a very long time. Bed in very good shape with almost perfect tailgate, but rest needs major work. Have very good replacement cab and doors, (2) NOS, NOS grill panel, (3) good dashes and (2) seats, NOS headlight rings, door handles, "Champ" badges. Data plate missing, but other cab has one, but no title for it. So, title may be an issue to deal with. I have another data plate with matching title for a '61 3/4 ton that can go with it. Put all together for a great truck!

2. '64 Champ 1/2 ton wide long bed with 259 4spd. Min. rust and nice truck I haven't had that long - runs and drives pretty well actually. Needs some clutch pedal work. I have replacement parts I graciously got from George Debono, but haven't had the time to fix it yet. I probably need to keep this one until the 2R15 is finished.

3. '53 2R11 I have had for several years and still use quite often. Rough truck but pretty dependable and fun to drive. Has a 245 Commander motor with the 3 sp O/D (O/D not currently working but should be easy fix). Good solid motor for a '60 Champ that is currently running propane with an Edmunds dual carb. intake and Edmunds high compression alum. head. Has 29 gal. propane tank in rear, but stock gas tank is still in truck and would be an easy conversion back to gasoline if wanted - new fuel pump, hoses to tank/engine and gas carbs. Not sure which to keep, this one or the '64 Champ while I am working on the 2R15.

Well, anyway, toying with the idea to do some summer cleaning. Let me know if interested. I don't have tons of free time, so only ask me questions if truly interested and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can. I can send photos later.
