Here's how to assist in cooling your vapor lock down

quicker. Carry an ice box with you and in the ice box a spray bottle with cold water. When you get your vapor lock spray the cold water on the fuel pump to cool it down and bob's your uncle you will start right up again. This has always worked for me when the Hawk was always having these little hiccups.
