It's all just a big dance... with a decent outcome

With winter almost upon us I needed to get organized and move things to different places.
I had one '53 coupe (yellow) in the garage, one '53 coupe (blue) just outside the garage, and a '47 pickup behind the second '53. Behind that is my F-150. Only the yellow '53 is driveable but I haven't started it in more than 6 months. The yellow '53 in the garage needed to move 4 miles away to a storage unit. The '47 needed to go in the garage. The other '53 needs to move across town to another garage but not for 3 weeks. One neighbor who could help had a baby this morning and a nearby Stude friend is getting a new hip next week. I was going to have to do this by myself.
So I parked the F-150 in the street. I pushed the '47 into the street. I pushed the blue '53 to the edge of the driveway and left enough room that I could get the yellow car out. The battery was dead, dead, dead and I couldn't get it to charge and it was getting dark. ARGH!
I got the tow rope and enlisted my wife who had never towed a car before. I clipped a flashing bicycle taillight to the back of the car and we towed it across town without incident. At the storage unit it needed to go up hill a bit and I wasn't strong enough to get it in there myself so my lovel bride had to help. We got it lined up and on the third try we got it in there. Whew!
Coming hope we pushed the 47 out of the street and into the garage, then got the blue '53 back in the driveway. An awful lot of work and a bit of stress but now things are where they need to be for winter.
Time for dinner!!!
