E-40 with 289 and 5 speed directby Dean
I'm curious on what kind of gas milage these trucks might get. I understand it depends on many things - the rear end gearing, what's mounted on the back, what you're loaded down with, the drag coefficient, in hills, mountains or flat lands, the speed of the head wind you're always seeming to have......
but I'm just looking for a general number.
Our 5E12 with the cab over camper in it gets about 11 mpg going down the highway....
(I was thinking this might have potential as a bigger frame mounted camper.....)
