Sorry to say but you may have to apply a lot of heat from a tourch and very likley pressure from a press. My little Scotsman 1/2 ton took lots of heat and everything my 20 ton hyd. press could muster up and that was for a 7/8" pin. You may be better off taking the axle off the truck and take it to a machine shop, expensive but much less hastle as you will need to have the new bushings honed anyway.
