Yep, we got the same issue. My motor is a 49-59 champion (also used in one ton trucks), where I should have the big 6 Commander. It runs we'll, so will not complain. If it dies, Then I'll complain!! Then, just drop another motor in it. Thinking Corvette!! LOL. Just joking, I'd put another 6 (maybe a modern V6) back in it.
