Thanks Vern, thought that might be it. It has two indents in the cover that are slightly above horiz. center line and off to each side of vertical centerline. Truck has a 71 351 Windsor and I did't know since engine had been changed if rear end had also. Based on appearance of underbody doubt if rear had been changed.
