My dad bought this truck in (Devils Lake, North Dakota)1967 with 22,000 miles on it. I took it over in 1976, did a frame off restoration (everything sandblasted).
In 1991(Las Vegas NV) I got rid of all of the Stude drive train, put in a tilt wheel, Chevy 350, Dodge 3/4 ton front(power assist) and rear axle.
May of 2011(Roseburg, OR), I bought a 1978 GMC 1/2 ton 4 wheel drive to put the Stude on. Took me a year....
I painted it in my garage. It's been a large project but I think the Stude will be on the road for another 20 years.
This truck has been my driver for 35 years.
