Vern, The starter nosepiece I purchased from you fit perfectly on my '54 3R6 and appears to have fixed my starter problems for the big six. It has a very nice shifting T98 4 speed behind the commander big six that cruises nicely with 3:31 gears out of a Studebaker station wagon in the Dana 44 rear end. However, the 4 speed in my '55 one ton dually is a crash box that takes some skill to shift smoothly. The engine is a 259 full flow out of a 1963 Champ truck so I have no idea what bell housing it has or why it has the old T9 crash box instead of the easier shifting T98 or T98A. Anyway, I am interested in trying to negotiate a deal for a suitable syncromesh T98 or T98A to upgrade my dually.
