I am trying to ID my tranny. '57 transtar with 259 plus auto trans. Has an long oval tag with no color left on it. There is an ID number on it-11221. That is all I know. It needs new gaskets and front pump seal. Losing a lot of fluid when I go anywhere. A puddle every time I stop. Need to know what it is so I can order parts. Anyone venture a guess?
