I received a pleasant surprise on Saturday morning when I turned on my computer! Ted had sent me recent photo's of where he is with the truck now. It looks SO GOOD to see that 245 motor sitting in my truck! Ted married the "new" T98A tranny to the motor prior to installing. It is going to be sweet to be shifting without the "grrrrriiiinnnnd" (but then there are those that say "he just don't know how to shift"!) LOL This is going to be a BIG upgrade over the 170 Champion and T9 "Grinder" that was in the truck. NOW the truck is more back to original. If you look at the photo's and notice the firewall, frame etc. has not been painted yet, that, as well as other cosmetic upgrades will be done when I get the truck back. Budget dictated what I could get done, and THAT was pretty much mechanical upgrades to include the new motor and transmission (and a few little extras that I threw in along the way ). I am more than pleased with the work Ted has accomplished. Now, after a brake/bearing check, front end check and a very few minor things, the truck will be on the way home. The cop's will have to clear traffic for the smile on my face!
I would like to say KUDO"S to Dave for helping me post these pictures (2nd time, Dave, and want you to know how much it is appreciated!).
