Drove thru Kansas a couple years ago, and definately know what you're talking about Vern. REAL warm when we went thru! Then went on to Las Vegas--that place had Kansas beat on heat!! We left Vegas EARLY (0400) one morning, and it was 114*!!
Here, when it's HOT, we also have the humidity to put up with. Soaked after a few minutes outside. No fun to be without AC!
